Cabinet of wax figures

The Wax Figures Room in Międzyzdroje is an opportunity to spend time in an unusual way. The facility is the oldest wax museum in Poland and its collection includes exhibits presenting many famous people – actors, musicians, politicians, and even heroes of popular films and fairy tales.

You can take a commemorative photo of each of the figures, providing plenty of entertainment for the whole family. The Wax Figurine Room is located on the Promenade, a short distance from the pier. There is also a Planetarium and an Eva Cinema in the same building.

To spend your time in an interesting way and expand your knowledge of the water world, we recommend visiting the Oceanarium in Międzyzdroje. Visiting the 3000 m2 facility, you can see fish and aquatic animals from all over the world. Freshwater sturgeons and koi carps, predatory sharks and colorful fish from coral reefs await there.

An additional attraction is a spectacular 16-meter half-tunnel filled with various species of fish and a touch pool, where we have the opportunity not only to admire live fish up close, but also to touch them

The Baltic Park of miniatures

For travel lovers, Międzyzdroje has a special attraction. It is the Miniature Park, which takes us on a journey along the shores of the Baltic Sea, to countries such as Poland, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Russia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland. There are detailed monuments in 1:25 scale, including the route of the Baltic Sea lighthouses.

For those wishing to learn more, the Park also offers guided tours, who will professionally tell the history of the buildings and countries presented in the park. Avenue of Stars in Międzyzdroje

The Avenue of Stars is one of the most recognizable attractions of our city. It is located on the Promenade and is directly related to the annual Star Festival, which has been held in Międzyzdroje since 1996. There are numerous film screenings, theater performances and meetings with actors and directors.

The Avenue of the Stars gives us the opportunity to meet “hand in hand” with our favorites from the world of the silver screen, thanks to the commemorative plaques honoring Polish artists. Among others, Krystyna Janda, Janusz Gajos, Katarzyna Figura, Stanisław Tym and Piotr Adamczyk made their prints and signatures here. Along the route of the Avenue, you will also find sculptures and monuments dedicated to outstanding artists associated with the Polish film and theater scene.

Bison Demonstration Farm

Being at the seaside, it is worth relaxing in the bosom of nature as much as possible, so as part of a break from sunbathing, we recommend visiting the Wolin National Park and the Bison Show Farm located there. Established in the mid-70s, the farm helps to reproduce and protect this species, and the tourists who come here provide an amazing experience from close meetings with the “king of the forest”.

Visitors can observe the herd living in the farm from special viewing platforms. In addition to bison, you can also meet red deer, roe deer and birds of prey, including the white-tailed eagle named Jurand. From the center of Międzyzdroje, we can reach the Żubrów reserve in approx. 30 minutes at walking pace.
